I easily accessed your web page today. It looks like you've spent LOTS of time on it. The pictures are really cute, and the whole thing seems to flow nicely.
The part with the phone graphic doesn't include phone numbers though.
The graphic of the radio for Virtually everything is antique-which probably doesn't reflect the current nature of the program.
Also, maybe put where the show can be heard right up front-so if someone doesn't click on it, they'll know right away what, when, where.
You can't get there through Yahoo though (only PDT shows up.)
I didn't check it all out, I got stuck (literally) on mama's page. (maybe the server got busy--yours or mine so I escaped).

I do think that on the first page you should list the author of Viva Italia as Maria Volpe Paganini because that is how Mom has it on her book. I really think this is a wonderful sight to visit and I love Nicolo Paganini. I am a classical guitarist from Virginia and study Paganini's music and have worked with some friends on transposing the 24 Caprices for guitar. We did the remaining 23 and John Williams did the 24th Capriccio in A Minor but I just did a record called Tisdale the 24 Caprices. They are very difficult and it took a span of about 3 1/2 yrs. Also having part of the Capriccio No. 1 in E Major, Capricci per violino was great. It would be nice to put even more Paganini violin on the sight but it's a very nice one anyway. See you later. A fine web site !I actually play violin and have 3 of my own.I have played on and off for about 40 years and must confess the Paganini sound of music is unique and very difficult to emulate I can only manage abit of caprice 24 Robert Schumann loved it of course.I have just finished listening to Salvatore Accardo playing the first 12 .he must be as good an exponent as any.All good luck for the future with the site.

My father Francesco Gregori, was also born in Rochetta in 1894. He was a wonderful musician and came to London to lead his own orchestra. My brother became a musicain and my sister and I both opera singers. Could there be a link? Would love to discuss with you.

I have just read your web-site and there a couple comments I need to make. My Mother-in-law was Ernesta Paganini and she was born in the SAME TOWN in Italy as Niccolo. That town, as you MAY already know, is south of Genoa, near LaSpezia, and is called Carro. My husband and I have visited Carro three times. There is a plaque on a wall in Carro that commorates Niccolo. Also in 1982 that community had a celebration of the 200th anniversary of Niccolo's birth. At this point, I have yet to determine whether my Mother-in-Law's family is a branch of Niccolo's illegimate son, or a branch of his brothers. Another source, you may or may not know about, is a two-volume book called PAGANINI, THE GENOESE, by G.I.C. de Courcy.

I know it would almost be impossible that we are related, but if you get a chance to reply, I would like to know where your family is actually located in Italy. Most of my family still lives over there, with the exception of my father and my grandparents. They moved over here and like it pretty much, but still miss "the old country". Hej I´m one of two Paganini´s in Sweden, the other one is my husband Martin (a REAL Paganini). I would love know more about our branch of the Paganini family. This is what I know :My father in law René Gerard Paganini was born i Paris 1938, his father was Turquato Paganini (1910?) and mother Nelly Eisner.The family got separated during the war, and father and son meet a few times in the early 1960s. Turquato had three (?) siblings, Romano, Sirena and Aurora. We think the two sisters lived close to Firenze. Grandma Nelly said that Turquato was the great-great-grandson of Niccolo, but we would like to know for sure.... We would love to come in contact with cousins and second cousins of René and Martin. Please send us a mail! To all Paganinis in the world: If you ever visit Genova, spend an hour in the Palazzo Turzi. A big hall is dedicated to the two great sons of the city: Niccolo Paganini and Christoffer Columbus! Hi. How interesting. My mother was a Paganini and she would be 101 this May. I went to Italy in 1983 and In LaSpezia (Carro) there are 1500 Paganinis there. My aunt Carmelina Paganini lives in Carro and my cousins, Gian Carlo Paganini and Piero Luigi Paganini live in Genoa. I have a page of history of Paganinis that the priest in the church in Carro gave to me which I would be happy to retype and forward to you. They are my ancestors. Wonderful site. Glad I found you.

It was a delightful surprise when I found your most attractive site while searching for the answer to a question about Nicolo Paganini. But I didn't find the answer to my question, which is: What piece of Paganini's was the basis for Rachmaninov's "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini"? Was it Paganini's Grande Etude in A Minor? I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who knows the answer.

I am making a documentary film on a homless man who lives in El Paso Texas USA. His name is Alfonso Paganini. He used to be a blues and rock player in the 60's, we are trying to find out if he is related to nicolo, we know that his grandfather came from Genova, Italy to America around 1902 under the name John Paganini. Does anybody have an updated nicolo paganini family tree?
